It was 4:44 a.m and everything around us seemed drizzly and gray
a mad crowd of wretched shadows crawled away from the dawn
the truth of the matter is we did nothing at all to stop them
‘t was 4:44 a.m. and the apathy was rolling in the mud between us
with it’s big false flirtatious smile
sweetly reminiscing about the horrors of waking up to unreality
