When I got home I slept like a dog.
I even had a dog-like dream,
with dog-like shadows
chasing me everywhere
tall, cadaverous humans shuddered by
as I ran across the sidewalks and boulevards
through the screaming frenzy of cars
I rushed eagerly to reach my safe place
and
when I finally got home I slept like a dog
I even had a dog-like dream
with dog-like shadows chasing me
everywhere
