De Moarte? - cum, dar cine-i Ea?
A tatii slugă de acasă
La fel de mult m-ar tulbura.
De viață să mă tem? De Aceea
Care trăirile-mi îndeamnă?
De o Cerească hotărîre
N-ar fi ciudat să-mi fie teamă?
De Înviere atunci? - Se teme Răsăritul
Să se încreadă în Zori, vreodată?
Decît de teamă stăpînită,
Coroana fie-mi contestată.
