Emil Brumaru (n. 25 decembrie 1939, Bahmutea, Basarabia) este un scriitor și poet contemporan român. Fiul lui Grigore Brumaru, funcționar CFR, și al Elisabetei, învățătoare. Urmează Liceul Național (absolvit în 1955), Facultatea de Medicină din Iași (1963). Devine medic la Dolhasca (1963-1975), din 1975 renunță la medicină pentru a se dedica exclusiv scrisului. Apreciat în egală masură atât de critica literară, cât și de publicul larg, reușește să impresioneze și prin personalitatea sa non-conformistă. Are rubrici în România literară, Ziarul de Iași și în Suplimentul de cultură, a scris în revista Plai cu boi, dă interviuri în revistele mondene, participă la discuții pe Internet. Debut cu poezii în revista Luceafărul, debut editorial cu două volume, ambele publicate în 1970, Versuri și Detectivul Arthur. Mihai Beniuc (n. 20 noiembrie 1907, Sebiș, Arad - d. 24 iunie 1988) a fost un poet, prozator și psiholog român. Este fiul lui Athanasie Beniuc și al Veselinei. Urmează Liceul Moise Nicoară între 1921-1927 din Arad, unde îl are ca profesor de literatură pe profesorul Alexandru T. Stamatiad. Debutează în revista liceului, „Laboremus”. Participă la cenaclul lui Victor Papilian. Licențiat în psihologie, filozofie și sociologie al Universității din Cluj, în 1931. După o specializare la Hamburg cu J. von Uexkull în psihologia animalelor, a parcurs ierarhia universitară de la asistent la profesor universitar. Naim Araidi was born in 1950, in the Druze village of Marrar in the Galilee. He went to Hebrew school in Haifa, and continued to a PhD in Hebrew Literature. Louis-Jacques-Napoléon “Aloysius” Bertrand (20 April 1807 – 29 April 1841) was a French poet instrumental in the introduction of the prose poem into French literature and is credited with inspiring later Symbolist poets [1]. He wrote a collection of poems entitled Gaspard de la nuit, after which composer Maurice Ravel wrote a suite of the same name, based on the poems "Scarbo", "Ondine", and "Le Gibet". Bertrand was born in Ceva, Piedmont, Italy (then a part of Napoleonic France) and his family settled in Dijon in 1814. There he developed an interest in the Burgundian capital. His contributions to a local paper lead to recognition by Victor Hugo and Sainte-Beuve. He lived in Paris shortly with little success. He returned to Dijon and continued writing for local newspapers. Olly Komenda Soentgerath was born as German in Prague. She studied Germanistik and History at the Karl University. First poems appeared in the \"Prager day sheet\". In the Federal Republic of Germany she published so far ten poem volumes and a Prosaband. Seifert translated her poems into Czech and published them in three volumes in Prague two years before she received the 1984 Nobelprize. The poems of Olly Komenda Soentgerath were published in numerous anthologies, newspapers and magazines.
