I am sitting in this waiting
in this longing like in a salty sea
I have 10 swimmers on my conscience because
I stole their gift of swimming only to be able to reach you
faster
darkness’ femur artery
goes through my left leg I cut it and let it bleed
all the way to the light to divinity maybe there I will be able to feel you
as the angel that untied a knot of darkness
and found me inside
maybe my heart won’t hang anymore like a bat
in a flesh cave maybe the atoms will spin again the nucleus
where Time flows like Niagara Falls
only then will they know how to watch
the hope wrapping itself around the new emptiness in us
like an anaconda about to swallow its prey
