MAMiroslav Antici
Miroslav "Mika" Antiæ (March 14, 1932 – June 24, 1986) was a Serbian poet, journalist and painter. Antiæ was born in Mokrin, Vojvodina, Serbia (then Yugoslavia). He wrote poems, articles, dramas, movie and TV scripts and documentaries. Mika also acted in several movies, and was an amateur painter. His best known poem is "Srem", in which he mourns for dead in World War II and describes the beauty of Srem using "beæarac" song form. He is well known as a bohemian. Mika Antiæ is best known as a children and youth poet, a master of delicate and gentle sentiments. His bohemian, hard-drinking lifestyle is best illustrated by a barely translatable pun about him: "Èika Jova deci, èika Mika Antiæ dva deci" "Èika Jova deci" meaning "Mister Jova to the children", referring to Jovan Jovanoviæ Zmaj, a known children's poet. "Èika Mika Antiæ dva deci" means "Mister Mika Antiæ two deciliters", referring to drinking from a glass, likely of alcohol.

Gaston Miron, poète quebecois est né le 8 janvier 1928 à Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, village des Laurentides, montagnes au nord de Montréal.. Vers l'âge de 14 ans, l'éloignement et la nostalgie des paysages de ses Laurentides natales provoquent l'écriture de ses premiers poèmes. Son initiation à la poesie coïncide avec sa découverte de la tradition poétique quebecoise. En 1944 sa famille démanage à Saint-Jérôme, ville industrielle du noprd de Montréal. En 1946 il quitte le collège après le noviciat et le scolasticat. La lecture du Cid de Corneille et la fascination qu'il éprouve envers le personnage de Chimène ont eu raison, racontera-t-il de sa vocation religieuse. En 1947 il arrive à Montréal. Peter Ulrich Weiss (November 8, 1916 – May 10, 1982) was a German writer, painter, and artist of adopted Swedish nationality. He is particularly known for his play Marat/Sade and his novel The Aesthetics of Resistance. Weiss was born in Nowawes (now part of Potsdam-Babelsberg), Brandenburg, to a Hungarian Jewish father and Christian mother. At age three he moved with his family to Bremen, and then during his adolescence to Berlin where Weiss began training for a career as a visual artist. In 1934 he emigrated with his family to Chislehurst, near London, England, where he studied photography at the Polytechnic School of Photography, and then in 1937-1938 attended the Prague Art Academy.
