Gaston Miron, poète quebecois est né le 8 janvier 1928 à Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, village des Laurentides, montagnes au nord de Montréal.. Vers l'âge de 14 ans, l'éloignement et la nostalgie des paysages de ses Laurentides natales provoquent l'écriture de ses premiers poèmes. Son initiation à la poesie coïncide avec sa découverte de la tradition poétique quebecoise. En 1944 sa famille démanage à Saint-Jérôme, ville industrielle du noprd de Montréal. En 1946 il quitte le collège après le noviciat et le scolasticat. La lecture du Cid de Corneille et la fascination qu'il éprouve envers le personnage de Chimène ont eu raison, racontera-t-il de sa vocation religieuse. En 1947 il arrive à Montréal. Sa situation financière est plus que précaire. De 1947 à 1954 il exerce divers métiers : instituteur, commis de bureau, barman dans un hôtel, secrétaire au Palais de justice, etc.Parallèlement, de 1947 à 1950 il suit des cours du soir en sciences sociales à l'Université de Montréal. YSYoko Sugawa
Yoko Sugawa est née à Tokyo en 1938 et elle y habite toujours. Elle est diplômée en littérature japonaise de l'Université Rikkyo. En 1972, elle s'est jointe au groupe Kanrai (Tonnerre d'hiver) fondé par Shuson Kato; elle est également membre du Gendai haiku kyôkai (Association du haïku contemporain). En 1988, elle a fondé la revue Kikan Fuyoh (Fleur de ketmie, revue trimestrielle) qu'elle dirige toujours. It is not known for certain the exact date of his birth, but since according to Spanish tradition the Christening was carried through very closely after the birth, there is no doubt that his birthday was in 1547. The actual date of the Christening was October 9th, 1547 at the city of Alcala de Henares. Since then, little is known of his childhood, other than he lived with his family in Valladolid, Madrid, and other Andalusian cities. Finally, they settled in Madrid, and afterwards, he became the attendant to the Cardinal Acquaviva in Italy in 1569 . Later on, Cervantes enlisted in to armed forces for the naval Battle of Lepanto (it took place on the 7th of December of 1571) where he was injured. This meant the handicap of his left hand, but he still continued as a soldier, on his voyage returning to Spain 1575 in the galley Sun, he fell prisoner of the Turks when it was over powered.
