Emile Nelligan s-a nascut pe 24-XII-1879 in Montreal, Canada, si a murit pe 18-XI-1941. Nascut dintr-un tata irlandez si o mama franco-canadiana, Emile este considerat unul dintre marii poeti simbolisti.Opera sa este puternic influentata de Baudelaire, Verlaine, Rodenbach, Rollinat si Edgar Allan Poe. Un talent colosal, de o precocitate asemanatoare doar unui Rimbaud, si-a vazut publicate poeziile la varsta de doar 16 ani. Dar in 1899 , la doar 20 de ani, in plina forta creatoare, sufera o cadere nervoasa din care nu-si va mai reveni niciodata.Emile nu va mai avea sansa sa-si termine primul volum de poezie care, conform ultimelor note, trebuia sa se numeasca \"Le Récital des Anges\". In 1904, volumul sau incomplect este publicat in Canada, fiind primit foarte bine de catre public, aprecieri de care Emile nu a aflat niciodata. Joseph Freiherr von Eichendorf *10.03.1788, Schloss Lubowitz (Oberschlesien), †26.11.1857, Neiße In der Literaturgeschichte gilt Joseph von Eichendorf als ein bedeutender Dichter der deutschen Hochromantik. Seine Verse sind einfach und musikalisch, ohne tiefschürfende Problematik, naturselig und religiös innig. Viele von ihnen wurden vertont. Joseph von Eichendorf kommt aus aristokratisch-katholischen Verhältnissen. Der Vater war preußischer Offizier. Das Gymnasium besucht der Jugendliche in Breslau und beginnt dort auch ein Jura- und Philosophiestudium, das er in Halle fortsetzt. 1810 schließt er sein Studium in Wien ab. Nach Stationen als Gutsverwalter und Militärzeit heiratet er am 7. April 1815 Luise von Larisch. Im gleichen Jahr wird er zum Kriegsdienst einberufen, um auf den Tag genau drei Monate nach seiner Vermählung bei de Besetzung Paris’ dabei zu sein. Samuel Taylor "Estese" Coleridge (1772-1834) Samuel Taylor Coleridge was born in Ottery St. Mary on 21 October 1772, youngest of the ten children of John Coleridge, a minister, and Ann Bowden Coleridge. He was often bullied as a child by Frank, the next youngest, and his mother was apparently a bit distant, so it was no surprise when Col1 ran away at age seven. He was found early the next morning by a neighbor, but the events of his night outdoors frequently showed up in imagery in his poems (and his nightmares) as well as the notebooks he kept for most of his adult life. John Coleridge died in 1781, and Col was sent away to a London charity school for children of the clergy. He stayed with his maternal uncle2. Gheorghe Brăescu (n. 29 ianuarie 1871, Iași - m. 15 martie 1949, București) este un prozator și un comediograf român. Fiul lui Alexandru Brăescu și al Mariei. Este printre puținii militari din România care pe lângă arme s-au ocupat și de literatură. A avut o tinerețe aventuroasă, a fugit de acasă pentru a se înrola în Legiunea franceză, unde a luptat sub contract timp de doi ani. La întoarcere a urmat Academia militară, a ajuns maior și inspector al vieții culturale din armată și a început să scrie literatură.
