After Cream split \'68 he continued to work with Jack Bruce (see his entry), also his own Jazz Poetry \'66, A Meal You Can Shake Hands With In The Dark \'69 (as Pete Brown and His Battered Ornaments, Chris Spedding on guitar), Things May Come And Things May Go, But The Art School Dance Goes On Forever \'72, and Thousands On A Raft \'70 (as Pete Brown and Piblokto, with Jim Mullen). He worked with other groups; an album of demos by Back To The Front was later issued. Otto Rene Castillo
In condițiile tragice ale anului 1954, un adolescent, încă elev de liceu, dar participant activ la luptele politice din țara sa, Guatemala, este nevoit să ia drumul exilului. Avea abia 18 ani și îl chema Otto Rene Castillo. L-a primit plină de dragoste și înțelegere, Republica Democrată Germană astfel numită până la căderea zidului, unde tânărul surghiunit a studiat literatura și cinematografia. Reântors în Guatemala, țara lui de baștină, se reâncadrează în rândul acelor Fuerzas Armadas Rebeldes implicându-se la instaurarea unui regim al moralei și echității sociale. Rănit în luptele de guerillă, este torturat în chip sălbatic și asasinat mișelește în luna martie a anului 1967. In rest, biografia lui se descifrează cu intensitate din versurile în care și-a nemurit sufletul, fiind cum însuși zice “văduv de lume” la o vârstă când alții își fac încă mari planuri de viitor, prea devreme smuls dintre cei vii. Akiko Yosano, 7 December 1878 - 29 May 1942) was the pen-name of a Japanese author, poet, pioneering feminist, pacifist, and social reformer, active in late Meiji period, Taishō period and early Showa period Japan. Her real name was Yosano Shiyo. She is one of the most famous, and most controversial, post-classical woman poets of Japan. Yosano was born the daughter of a rich merchant in Sakai, Osaka. From early childhood, she was fond of reading literary works while she helped her family business. When she was a high school student, she began to subscribe to the poetry magazine Myōjō (Bright Star), and she became one of its most important contributors. Derek Alton Walcott (born January 23, 1930) is a Caribbean poet, playwright, writer and visual artist. Born in Castries, St. Lucia, he won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1992. His work, which developed independently of the schools of magic realism emerging in both South America and Europe at around the time of his birth, is intensely related to the symbolism of myth and its relationship to culture.
