a sunny sunday afternoon

as I was sitting calmly on the shore
and watching phantoms swallowing
dead fishes
I thought we would be better off without
the unforgiving god who taught us how
to suffer deeply
but then the sparkling corpses
brought to life
by my thought’s flesh and wander
threw up the healing water
on my face
thus I became their lover
