Sonnet CLIX

from \"Shakespeare’s last imaginary sonnets in a visionary translation\" by Vasile Voiculescu

How many times would meet me, without sleep, the dawn?
The winter burst in upon me, the year leaves his crown,
Me in exile, far away...When will you interrupt my ban,
When will you call me back again, my beloved noble man?
I’m still awaking - around here – your frail love,
As if would be a treasure – ay to me destined;
I am Argus, not with a hundred eyes, but with a thousand
Burning hearts and all of them spy.
Beware mostly of going away on the blue sea
With that, cool woman double-faced and swarthy;
My tempestuous thoughts will follow about your trip,
Arousing hurricanes will drown your sailing ship:
Because I love you with hate, entire, and only me;
I do not share you even with God, with nobody.
