I never make a promise
Unless I keep it.
You let me waiting an answer
You could give with a word,
You don’t put a knife in my heart,
You put a sword.
I’m waiting for you
In the middle of the night,
To let me know how you are,
If you’re alright.
Don’t let anybody touch you
Until you make up your mind,
Not because I so jealous,
But because that would be real kind.
And never make promises
Unless you keep them.
