A crash on the corner,
A robbery at the store,
Life in the street
Is not under control.
The cops are eating
In a cheap pizzeria,
The street is controlled
By the bad guys, mafia.
A chain crash again
On the highway south,
Ambulances and sirens,
What we’d do without?
The gangs are in power
To do what they want,
Drugs at the corner,
What we’d do without?
Life in the street
Is so much fun,
Where is a cop
When you need one?
