a great man singing great,
a story in every verse,
peace and love collide,
his songs are about
black, and brown, and white.
stop the racism!
is no good in that,
see the man next to you
and don’t hate him for what
you don’t know he does
or he does not.
listen if you can,
if you remember him,
his name is straight-
Captain Hollywood Project.
i never heard something like that,
he can sing out of this heart,
in this world,
in this world.
take a moment
and try to understand
why is this hate,
in this world,
in this world.
all I want is
to see how it is,
how do you feel
when he sings and you kill,
how does it feel?
only you can make me too
do all the things I don’t want to do,
in this world,
in this world.
it’s not impossible
if you only try,
come here and take this
hand of mine,
and together will make
a different kind
of human love,
of human love.
