Constantin Abăluță (n. 8 octombrie 1938, București) este un poet, prozator, critic, antologator și traducător român. Este diplomat în arhitectură (1961), pe care a practicat-o pâna în 1969. A debutat editorial ca poet în 1964. A mai scris și proză, teatru și dramatizări pentru radio. Într-o antologie publicată în anul 2000, Abăluță se descrie ca un poet al banalului. Adesea, poeziile sale încep cu un fapt banal, după care virează spre absurd. Totuși, în spatele exteriorului banal și absurd, se ascunde o realitate dură. În antologia Poezia română după proletcultism (ed. Ex Ponto, Constanța, 2000), alcătuită de Constantin Abăluță, prezența unor poeți fără prea mare cotă la box-office-ul literar este explicată de antologator prin aceea că atunci cînd își acordrează liric sensibilitatea cu expresia, poeții mărunți pot produce poeme antologabile. Charles Cros (n. 1 octombrie 1842 - d. 9 august 1888) a fost un poet și inventator francez. A fost născut în Fabrezan, Aude, Franța, 35 km la est de Carcassonne. Cros era un poet și scriitor umoristic cunoscut. Cea mai cunoscută scriere a lui este poezia "Scrumbia afumată", considerată ca fiind una dintre capodoperele umorului absurd. Horia Bonciu (n. 19 mai 1893, Iași, d. 27 aprilie 1950) este pseudonimul literar al lui Beniamin (Hieronim? Bonciu?) Haimovici (cunoscut și sub pseudonimul de Sigismund Absurdul), scriitor avangardist român. A colaborat la revista Meridian și a scris poeme și romane experimentale. A fost student la Berlin, unde a frecventat cercurile avangardei, mai precis ale mișcării expresioniste. Nu și-a finalizat studiile. Acuzat de pornografie, asemenea unor confrați cum ar fi Mircea Eliade, Geo Bogza sau Mihail Sebastian, i se intentează un proces de presă răsunător în 1937, dar numeroși intelectuali, în frunte cu Eugen Lovinescu, îi sar în apărare. Louis-Jacques-Napoléon “Aloysius” Bertrand (20 April 1807 – 29 April 1841) was a French poet instrumental in the introduction of the prose poem into French literature and is credited with inspiring later Symbolist poets [1]. He wrote a collection of poems entitled Gaspard de la nuit, after which composer Maurice Ravel wrote a suite of the same name, based on the poems "Scarbo", "Ondine", and "Le Gibet". Bertrand was born in Ceva, Piedmont, Italy (then a part of Napoleonic France) and his family settled in Dijon in 1814. There he developed an interest in the Burgundian capital. His contributions to a local paper lead to recognition by Victor Hugo and Sainte-Beuve. He lived in Paris shortly with little success. He returned to Dijon and continued writing for local newspapers. Olly Komenda Soentgerath was born as German in Prague. She studied Germanistik and History at the Karl University. First poems appeared in the \"Prager day sheet\". In the Federal Republic of Germany she published so far ten poem volumes and a Prosaband. Seifert translated her poems into Czech and published them in three volumes in Prague two years before she received the 1984 Nobelprize. The poems of Olly Komenda Soentgerath were published in numerous anthologies, newspapers and magazines.
