Petre Got (n. 20 septembrie 1937, Desești jud. Maramureș) este un poet și jurnalist român. Numele său este uneori scris sub forma Petre Gott. Părinții săi se numeau Gheorghe Got și Ioana (n. Sacalâș) și erau amândoi țărani. Gheorghe Got și Ioan Pop (văr primar dinspre mamă) au fost deținuți politici în perioada 1959–1962, respectiv 1958–1964, fapt care l-a adus pe tânărul Got la un pas de a fi exmatriculat din facultate. În 1962, Petre Got absolvă studiile de licență ale Facultății de Filologie din cadrul Universității din Cluj. Debutează cu poeme în revista Familia (1966). Phaedrus, Gaius Julius (c.15 BC—c. AD 50), Thracian slave who came to Rome and became a freedman in the household of Augustus, the author (in Latin) of a collection of fables in five books containing some hundred stories, published probably in the thirties of the first century AD. There is also an appendix of another thirty-two fables, probably also by Phaedrus. The collection includes fables proper, a number of anecdotes (e.g. about Aesop, Socrates, and Menander), and defences of the author against detractors. The fables are based on those of Aesop and on beast-stories from other sources which had come to be attributed to Aesop. ÉGÉdouard Glissant
Edouard Glissant (born in Sainte-Marie, Martinique in 1928) is a French writer, poet and literary critic. He is widely recognised as being one of the most influential figures in Caribbean thought and cultural commentary. He studied at the Lycée Schoelcher, named after the abolitionist Victor Schoelcher, where the poet Aimé Césaire had studied and had come back to as a teacher. Césaire had met Léon Damas there; later in Paris they would join with Léopold Senghor, a poet and the future first president of Senegal, to formulate and promote the conecpt of négritude. înainte de elementele ce țin de biografia lui andrei gamarț este necesar de evidențiat faptul ca andrei nu este un oarecare poet. andrei este o întruchipare a unui artistism rar întâlnit. modul de percepție a unui adevăr complex care își găsește originea într-o infinitate de idei este un fenomen pur instinctiv, deci andrei gamarț profită de un har de a reflecta realitatea, el este omul unic al sentimentului, al imaginii și al cuvântului. Nu pot a mă încadra statului de poet si in nici pe de parte celui de scriitor. Sunt un mare amator de fraze frumoase, scrise pe placul inimii mele și un mare devorator de pagini scrise de cei cu mai mult talet si har ca mine. ps. Totuși celor care își vor arunca privirea peste textele mele, îi rog a nu mă judeca prea aspru.

Scriitor latin, de origine siriană. Autor de mimi (farse), care abundau în maxime morale (sententiae) foarte apreciate atât de contemporanii săi, cât și de posteritate. Engleză Publilius (less correctly Publius) Syrus, a Latin writer of maxims, flourished in the 1st century BC. He was a Syrian who was brought as a slave to Italy, but by his wit and talent he won the favor of his master, who freed and educated him. His mimes, in which he acted himself, had a great success in the provincial towns of Italy and at the games given by Caesar in 46 BC. Publilius was perhaps even more famous as an improviser, and received from Caesar himself the prize in a contest in which he vanquished all his competitors, including the celebrated Decimus Laberius. All that remains of his works is a collection of Sentences (Sententiae), a series of moral maxims in iambic and trochaic verse. Novalis (pe numele adevărat Friedrich Leopold von Hardenberg) (n. 2 mai 1772 - d. 25 martie 1801) a fost unul dintre cei mai mari poeți și prozatori germani, considerat cel mai de seamă reprezentant al Cercului romanticilor de la Jena.
