O îmbinare de Orient și Occident, de reflexivitate și sensualism, de musturi și rigori, imprimă versurilor lui Vahé Godel, poet de origine armeană, născut în 1931, la Geneva, o vehemență specifică, nu fără asociaționisme frapante, după cum reminiscențe ale unui suprarealism supus la nesfârșite filtrări, fracturi, probe de foc, avertismente și provocări decroșează mai la tot pasul niște nervi de legătură între fantezie și realtiatea imediată. A tradus din poeți armeni și a făcut adaptări din lirica românească (bunăoară din poemele lui Gellu Naum). Colaborator al multor reviste din Franța, Belgia, Germania, Elveți, România și Armenia. 1962 : naissance à Pau, avec une dent (comme Henri IV et Napoléon). Le grand-père, qui lui n’en avait plus qu’une (dent), prétend que c’est le signe d’un don. Il ne saura jamais, hélas, s’il avait raison. 1964: première cuite, en trempant des boudoirs dans des fonds de champa-agne. 1966: mauvais millésime. 1968 : trop petit, regrets éternels. Souvenirs de gens dans les rues. D‘un oncle qui marchait pieds nus. 1969: découverte, grâce à l\'instituteur, de Peer Gynt de Grieg, ce petit bonhomme qui s\'en va un matin à travers la montagne. 1970 : première BD, histoire de cowboys à gueules de chiens, avec des gentils et des méchants. 1971 : deuxième prix au concours de peinture de l’école (un bûcheron). 1972 : gagne le concours de chanson de la colo de Béost (vallée d’Ossau) avec « Par le grand Manitou » de Carlos. (Pas le terroriste, le chanteur !) 1973 : gagne pour la deuxième fois le concours de chanson de la colo avec « C’est un beau roman » de Michel Fugain. (Clin d’œil du destin ?)...

Lector compulsiv, colectionar de madlene sinestezice, de texte de pe ambalaje amestecate cu sunete, mirosuri si pasaje intregi din Atonement, Saturday, Chesterton, Bulgakov, Celine, Proust, Roth, Wittgenstein, Borges, Glasperlenspiel, Cehov, Kafka, Florian, Golding, Zauberberg, Marquez, Leibniz, Bergman, Kundera, Wharton, Kurosawa, Arabian Nights, Cartarescu, Isherwood, Calvino, Fellini, Cimpoiesu, C.S. Lewis. Lista asta n-are insa nici o relevanta, deoarece pe langa un deficit de fantezie, in ultimul timp ma confrunt cu o acuta lipsa de simt al umorului.

WAWilliam Austin
William Austin (1778–1841) was an American author and lawyer, most notable as the creator of the Peter Rugg stories published in the New England Galaxy in 1824–1827. Austin's stories, constructed as long letters signed with the name Jonathan Dunwell, presented the Rugg story as a long-standing New England legend, about a strong and obstinate man who got lost in a thunderstorm in 1770 and wandered the roads ever afterwards. Austin was born in 1778 in Lunenburg, Massachusetts, where his family had fled after the British burned down their Charlestown house during the Battle of Bunker Hill. He was educated at Harvard College and Lincoln's Inn, London. He married twice, fought one duel with pistols, and had fourteen children. As a young man he served as Unitarian chaplain aboard the USS Constitution. Karl Werner Aspenström (13 November 1918 – 25 January 1997) was a Swedish poet. Born at Norrbärke, he was a member of the Swedish Academy, where he held Seat 12 from 1981 to 1997. Aspenström claimed that his motivation for writing was "writing for his cat", but apparently hinted that he meant someone else with that. In 1989, together with Lars Gyllensten and Kerstin Ekman, he resigned from the Swedish Academy because of the academy’s response to the Salman Rushdie controversy, which was perceived as weak. He however claimed that this was not the sole reason for his resignation, but rather one amongst several other. He was a friend of Stig Dagerman. Tom Waits
In the 1970s, Tom Waits combined a lyrical focus on desperate, lowlife characters with a persona that seemed to embody the same lifestyle, which he sang about in a raspy, gravelly voice. From the '80s on, his work became increasingly theatrical as he moved into acting and composing. Robert Traill Spence Lowell IV (March 1, 1917 – September 12, 1977) was an American poet, considered the founder of the confessional poetry movement. He was appointed the sixth Poet Laureate Consultant in Poetry to the Library of Congress in 1946.
