născut în 1944 - decedat 19 noiembrie 1996 "Vasile Petre Fati, antologie postumă Vasile Petre Fati este un poet exemplar pentru promoția ’70. Așa am vrut să încep rândurile acestei prezentări. Hm! Dar de ce doar al promoției ’70? mi-am luat eu seama. Și m-am gândit că el este, de fapt, poet exemplar al întregii literaturi române contemporane. Om blând, tăifăsuitor profesionist, bun cunoscător al degustării vinului la Casa Scriitorilor, vin sub formă uleioasă iarna, în formă de șpriț lung vara, Vasile Petre Fati era reprezentant al – cu o exactă etichetă pusă de prietenul său Marian Drăghici – „aripei boemei cuminți”. Confirm, ca un om care a combătut calm, amical, multe ore cu cei doi, la aceeași masă din sufrageria Casei Monteoru în primele zile, în primele luni, în primii ani după evenimentele din decembrie 1989. Pe cât de boem era Fati, pe atât de bonom era, deși intransigent când venea vorba de draga de literatură, el cultivând o ironie fină, cordială, cu atât mai usturătoare...

(b 25 Dec. \'40, London) Poet, lyricist, singer, producer, percussionist. Active on London jazz-poetry scene early \'60s, then worked with Cream, writing lyrics for hits \'Sunshine Of Your Love\', \'White Room\', \'I Feel Free\', \'Politician\' etc which he said would pay the rent for the rest of his life. After Cream split \'68 he continued to work with Jack Bruce (see his entry), also his own Jazz Poetry \'66, A Meal You Can Shake Hands With In The Dark \'69 (as Pete Brown and His Battered Ornaments, Chris Spedding on guitar), Things May Come And Things May Go, But The Art School Dance Goes On Forever \'72, and Thousands On A Raft \'70 (as Pete Brown and Piblokto, with Jim Mullen). He worked with other groups; an album of demos by Back To The Front was later issued. Tahar Ben Jelloun (Arabic: ÇáØÇåÑ ÈäÌáæäý) (born in Fes, Morocco, December 1, 1944) is a Moroccan poet and writer. Professor at Tetouan and then in Casablanca. He has lived and worked in France since 1971. He attends to lectures in social psychology and works as psychotherapist. He writes in French although his first language is Arabic. He writes for diverse reviews and in particular for Le Monde. His novel La Nuit Sacrée won the Prix Goncourt in 1987. In 2004 he was awarded the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award for This Blinding Absence of Light (translated from the French by Linda Coverdale). In September 2006, Tahar Ben Jelloun was awarded a special prize for "peace and friendship between people" at Lazio between Europe and the Mediterranean Festival. LGLars Gustafsson
Lars Gustafsson, född 17 maj 1936 i Västerås i Västmanlands län, är en svensk filosof, författare och poet. År 1982 bosatte han sig i Austin i Texas i USA, men återvände 2006 till Sverige. Han bor nu på Södermalm i Stockholm. Lars Gustafsson studerade litteraturhistoria, estetik, sociologi och filosofi vid Uppsala universitet samt blev filosofie licentiat. Med avhandlingen Språk och lögn blev han doktor i Uppsala 1978. Han var redaktör för BLM 1962-1972 samt är ledamot av Akademie der Wissenschaften und der Literatur i Mainz och Akademie der Künste i Berlin. Vid University of Texas at Austin arbetade han som professor i germanska studier och filosofi fram till maj 2006. Gustafsson är känd som betydande romanförfattare och lyriker. Bland hans mer berömda verk kan räknas pentalogin "Sprickorna i muren", bestående av de fem böckerna "Herr Gustafsson själv", "Yllet", "Familjefesten", "Sigismund" och "En biodlares död", vilka alla kan sägas spegla alternativa liv för författaren själv....
