Playing an inventive musical mix of blues and California-style rock, the group was quickly dubbed “the new Jefferson Airplane”. The band’s founding members (Iain Matthews, Judy Dyble, Richard Thompson, Simon Nicol, Ashley Hutchings, Martin Lamble) were discovered playing in London’s Soho district, by American producer Joe Boyd. Biography Early Years Kurt Weill was born on 2 March 1900 in Dessau, Germany. The son of a cantor, Weill displayed musical talent early on. By the time he was twelve, he was composing and mounting concerts and dramatic works in the hall above his family\'s quarters in the Gemeindehaus. During the First World War, the teenage Weill was conscripted as a substitute accompanist at the Dessau Court Theater. After studying theory and composition with Albert Bing, Kapellmeister of the Theater, Weill enrolled at the Berlin Hochschule für Musik, but found the conservative training and the infrequent lessons with Engelbert Humperdinck too stifling. Fue bautizada con los nombres de María Rosalía Rita. Hija de madre soltera y padre desconocido (supuestamente un cura de la zona). Muy poco se sabe de su educación. Se sabe que en la escuela mostró talento de versificadora. También le gustaba el dibujo, la música y la declamación. Contrajo matrimonio con Manuel Murguía, erudito cronista de Galicia. FGFélix Grande
Félix Grande (Mérida, 4 de febrero 1937) poeta, flamencólogo y crítico español. Se le considera uno de los grandes renovadores de la poesía española de los años sesenta. Aunque nació en Mérida, Badajoz, vivió su infancia y juventud en Tomelloso (Ciudad Real), donde su abuelo era cabrero. Hijo de un guardia de asalto, era guitarrista flamenco cuando, según ha contado él mismo, decidió cambiar ese instrumento por la literatura, que en su pluma posee mucha relación con la música. En Tomelloso fue jornalero y descubrió el amor. Su obra evolucionó desde la inspiración machadiana y el compromiso social de Las piedras a una reflexión sobre el lenguaje y el erotismo. Vicente Gómez Martínez-Espinel (Ronda, 28 de diciembre de 1550 - Madrid, 4 de febrero de 1624) fue un escritor y músico español del Siglo de Oro. A partir de sus Diversas rimas de 1591, transformó la estructura de la décima, estrofa conocida también como espinela en su homenaje. En la música se hizo famoso por dar a la guitarra su quinta cuerda, añadiendo una cuerda más aguda - llamada mi agudo o prima - a las cuatro existentes en aquel momento.
