Odile Hellmann-Hurpoil, escritora e ilustradora francesa nacida en 1946 en Troyes. En 1984 incursionó en el mundo de la literatura infantil y juvenil, y desde entonces decidió dejó por completo el periodismo y se dedicó a escribir cuentos y novelas. Su obra ha sido traducida a varios idiomas y algunos de sus escritos han sido adaptados a la televisión y se venden en formato de video.
