Louis Jenkins
Louis Jenkins’ poems have been published in a number of literary magazines and anthologies, including The Best American Poetry 1999 (Scribner, 1999) and Great American Prose Poems (Scribner, 2003). His books of poetry include An Almost Human Gesture (1987), All Tangled Up With the Living (1991), Nice Fish: New and Selected Prose Poems(1995), winner of the Minnesota Book Award, Just Above Water(1997), The Winter Road(2000) and Sea Smoke(2004). His most recent books are North of the Cities (2007), European Shoes (2008) and Before You Know It: Prose Poems 1970-2005(2009) all published by Will o’ the Wisp Books. Mr. Jenkins was awarded two Bush Foundation Fellowships for poetry, a Loft-McKnight fellowship, and was the 2000 George Morrison Award winner. YSYoko Sugawa
Yoko Sugawa est née à Tokyo en 1938 et elle y habite toujours. Elle est diplômée en littérature japonaise de l'Université Rikkyo. En 1972, elle s'est jointe au groupe Kanrai (Tonnerre d'hiver) fondé par Shuson Kato; elle est également membre du Gendai haiku kyôkai (Association du haïku contemporain). En 1988, elle a fondé la revue Kikan Fuyoh (Fleur de ketmie, revue trimestrielle) qu'elle dirige toujours. Elle a publié l'anthologie de haïkus Shiori himo (Signet; 1987) et l'anthologie de tankas Suhajikami (Gingembre amer; 1996). Traduction des haïkus: Dhugal J. Écrivain haïtien né le 29 août 1926 à Jacmel (Haïti). Son enfance est marquée à la fois par la mort de son père, de graves soucis matériels et l'émerveillement que lui inspirent la mer, la nature et le surréalisme mystique de la vie en Haïti. À dix-neuf ans, il publie «Étincelles», son premier recueil, qui lui vaut un succès immédiat et lui permet de rencontrer de grands intellectuels, parmi lesquels André Breton et Aimé Césaire. Au cours de ses diverses pérégrinations et de son séjour à Cuba, René Depestre poursuit une œuvre poétique importante. En 1978, il s'installe dans le sud de la France à Lézignan-Corbières. FMFilippo Tommaso Marinetti
Filippo Tommaso Marinetti s-a născut în 22 decembrie 1876 la Alexandria (Egipt) și a murit la 2 decembrie 1944 la Bellagio. Studiază într-un colegiu francez de iezuiți și-și ia în 1893 baccalauréat ès lettres la Paris. Familia mea se mută la Milano și astfel viitorul inventator al futurismului se înscrie la Facultatea de Drept din Pavia, terminându-și studiile, însă, la Genova în 1899. Debutează în revista „Anthologie-Revue” în 1898 cu poezia „Les Vieux Marins” câștigând un concurs de poezie la Paris. Devenit poet de limba franceză, publică La Conquête des Étoiles (1902), Destruction (1904), La ville charnelle (1908). În 1905 scoate revista internațională Poesia împreună cu Sem Benelli și Vitaliano Ponti, rămânând însă singurul director al revistei începând cu numărul 8. La 20 februarie 1909 publică în „Figaro” la Paris „Manifestul Futurismului”. Carjo Mouanda est né le 05 Avril 1980 à Pointe-Noire au Congo. Passionné de poésie et de lettres, il a poursuivi des études universitaires au Sénégal. En 2013, Carjo Mouanda a publié son volume "Cri de douleurs" en France, Editions LIRE ET MEDITER, Collection L'OSMOSE. Jacques Breault
Né le 29 mars à Montréal en 1933, Jacques Brault est poète, romancier et essayiste. Il a été professeur à l'Université de Montréal de 1960 à 1996, d'abord en Études médiévales puis en Études françaises. De 1970 à 1995, il a participé à de nombreuses émissions littéraires, à la chaîne FM de Radio-Canada et sur les ondes de la Communauté radiophonique de langue française. Brault décède le 19 octobre 2022 à l’âge de 89 ans à l’hôpital BMP de Cowansville et ses obsèques auront lieu le 4 novembre 2022 au Complexe funéraire Brome-Missisquoi à Cowansville au même endroit où son épouse Madeleine Breton (1928-2014) l’avait devancé le 18 mars 2014. Son œuvre comprend de nombreux titres, parmi lesquels Poèmes des quatre côtés, Poèmes I et II (rétrospective 1965-1990) et Poèmes choisis 1965-1990 (anthologie préparée par Yvon Rivard) aux Éditions du Noroît. Olly Komenda Soentgerath
Olly Komenda Soentgerath was born as German in Prague. She studied Germanistik and History at the Karl University. First poems appeared in the \"Prager day sheet\". In the Federal Republic of Germany she published so far ten poem volumes and a Prosaband. Seifert translated her poems into Czech and published them in three volumes in Prague two years before she received the 1984 Nobelprize. The poems of Olly Komenda Soentgerath were published in numerous anthologies, newspapers and magazines. They were toned and translated into several languages - the authoress is member of the PEN- club.She won several literary awards kept among others being the Culture Prize for Bibliography 1992 endowed by the Free State of Bavaria; the Honour Gift of Andreas Gryphius; and in 1996 the Kuenstlergilde endowed by the Federal Ministry of the Inside.
