You and I met a brief second in time
Like a lightning star was your smile
We melted like two drops of snow together
Merged like flames into a fire forever
In one heartbeat we were one
In one heartbeat you were gone
Now we are like the mountain snow, you and me
Like tears lost in the great blue sea
Never to be found again
And I sit watching the rain
The rain can wash my tears away,
But not the part of you that\'s in me
Not your heartbeat I can always feel
Not the wound only your kiss can seal
In one heartbeat we were one
In one heartbeat you were gone
Now we are like the mountain snow, you and me
Like tears lost in the great blue sea
Never to be found again
And I sit watching the rain
