In me are a thousand songs for you
Songs that sing of my love for you
Of the cheeky way you look at me
The fire in your eyes, wild and free
They sparkle like diamonds at night
Your smile will set the stars alight
In me are a thousand melodies for you
Melodies play when I see you
One for every hair on your head
Your touch that drives me mad
The musky smell of your skin
Like the hazy perfume of spring
In me are a thousand words for you
Words that want to please you and say
They\'ll climb for you mountains so high
They\'ll cross for you deserts so wide
Words born from the secrets of my soul
Still can never say it all
If I were a song, would you hear me?
If I were a song, would you sing me?
Would you laugh and throw me away,
Or raise your voice and sing me today?
