Time passes and I pine for you
Like a corn mill it grinds me, too
It flows like a river slowly by
Takes my heart, my soul, I cry
I hope, I dream, I wait, I die
Every day as time flows by
Time heals all wounds, it\'s true
Why must I hurt the way I do?
One day it will pass, this pain
Maybe I can even love again
When your shadow has left my bed
And no more ghosts are in my head
No,I\'m afraid to forget you,no!
Your soul is around me, I know
I don\'t want this wound to heal
I want to hurt without end, to feel
The knife in my heart you left behind
Take your photo and hide in my mind
Time heals, so they say
This love is mine, it will stay
No one can take your place
I need to feel this empty space
And if I must cry forever
All my tears i will gather
To grow in the desert roses, you see
One for every day you\'re not with me
