Prayer of Holy Shame

Lord Jesus, I am ashamed. Not of You — but of how far I have wandered from Your love. I carry a weight too heavy, and I do not deserve Your gaze. Yet still, You look at me with eyes full of mercy. Wash me in Your tears, clothe me in Your kindness, and hide me in Your wounds. Let this shame become my offering, and this pain, my prayer. I return to You. Take me back.
