Your eyes, they water my blue horses,
Runnin’ back through the sound of me.
I hear your voice in the morning,
Gallopin’ through that sandy sea.
You untie my breath with your kisses,
So I don’t hide what you need to see.
Hold this song to your temple, darlin’,
That shell’s gonna sing back to thee.
Keep it close like a sweet red fruit,
Like a moon tucked under your sleeve.
