a daring soul
defies the ephemeral –
the first snow
a dreaming snowflake
dies in the solitude
of the loving heart
on the bench in the park
two hands meeting
three words
and the heart’s desire
burns in an eternal hug
lasting a short while
between two snows
the soul is confessing
to a coffee cup
