I tried to run away from me
But I kept falling
On a hole that never ended
And never began…
I tried to burn my feelings
But they kept growing,
They reached the sky
They burnt my eyes
They didn’t want to fly
To let me be,
Not to be me,
But another me
That looks like you,
That smells like you
To do what you do
To think like you
Just…to be you….
