It turns black without you, I bend my knees and I fall.
Slowly.
I always go in slow motion so that my eye would capture everything on the retina
The beat of my heart and the absence of yours.
Translucent skin – the void within
I am not this corpse or the patient on the stretcher
I’m far away. I am with you.
Perfusions and oxygen.
Glucose 500 mg.
Ringer’s solution.
NaCl supplementation.
“Come back!”, they said, “Come back!”
And so I did, but you went away.
All I could say was:
“Stay with me, my love, please stay …”
