When you wake up in the morning and there’s no one next to you
Just remember all I’ve promised, what I said stays always true
When you go to bed, at night, and there’s no one lying there
Just remember I’m with you, I am here and everywhere
In the grass that fades away, in the grass that comes to green
In the old pathetic men, middle aged or ever teen
Near of far, beyond, within, day or night, darkness or light
It’s my hand that holds your hand in the future if you might
Recognise the soul that fits in the shape of your own fear
