I write you from the past that’s present

My future torturer, my pain

To set things clear, to let you know

About the burden that I’ve gained.

Living with you for all this time

Was living with a summer bird

You were too old, I was too young

The words I said were never heard.

Not in the right way nor the wrong

Not in high tones nor without voice

And I knew that so well, so long

I’ve waited for you, so my choice

Was loving you despide all signs

Despite all world, despite my mind

I needed someone I could love

You needed someone who was kind.

And for a while we were well

The mutual friendship grew so strong

That not a second did I doubt

My growing love for you weren’t wrong.

I dreamed you dreamed the same dreamstory

Where there was no one else but us

I had high hopes, I had desires

But suddenly all felt. Alas!

I never knew the words you craved for

You never heard the ones I used

Now, in the present, I’m still happy

I’m not yet worthless or abused.

But, oh, the time won’t spend forever

Its growing winter on my mind

You’ll turn from me, I’ll turn to you

But there’ll be no one I could find...
