Years passed like long clouds over the hill
And never will return,
For today my heart isn’t filled
With stories once were born,
That lighted up my childish eyes
Senseless, still full of meanings –
It’s useless, your shades can’t fly,
Oh, time of peace and evening sunsets.
To rend a sound out of the past of existence,
To make you, soul, again to shake
On the lyra, my hand slides useless;
In the sphere of youth all is lifeless
The sweet mouth of other times is silent,
Time grows behind me…now I’m darkness!
