Maria Wine

Birth: Jul. 8, 1912 Death: Apr. 22, 2003 Author and Poet. Renowned Swedish author and poet, born in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her real name was Karla Lundkvist, but was known as her pseudonym, Maria Wine. Her childhood - growing up in orphanage and foster-home - she described in the auto-biographical "Man har skjutit ett lejon" (1951). She had several collections of poems and novels published, among them "Vinden ur mörkret" (1943), "Feberfötter" (1947) and "Minnena vaknar" (Awakening memories) from 1994, about her life with famed author/poet Artur Lundkvist, whom she married in 1936.

Ferdinand Ludwig Adam von Saar (born September 30, 1833 in Vienna, Austria; died July 24, 1906 in Döbling) was an Austrian novelist, playwright and poet. Together with Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach he was one of the most important realistic writers in the German language of the ending 19th century. ======================= Ferdinand von Saar wurde am 30. Li Po was born in central Asia. After his father moved the family back into China in 705, he started his poetic compositions. With mountains near his house, he found adventure and became a skilled swordsman and led a life of a knight-errant when he was older. Po traveled and married a daughter of a retired prime minister in 727, but soon went back to traveling the regions and neighboring countries around him. His most exciting travels were to the capital Ch’ang-an where he was presented to the emperor Hsuan-tsung and was showered with extravagant gifts. He was then appointed as a member of the Hanlin Academy and was lionized by fellow scholar-officials. The next travel he experienced was in 744.
