KIKobayashi Issa
Kobayashi Issa (1763-1828) a fost un poet japonez. *** Kobayashi Issa (1763-1827) - original name Kobayashi Nobuyki - Also called Kobayashi Yataro, born in some sources on May 5, 1763 Kobayashi Issa was born in Kashiwabara, Shinano province (now part of Shinano Town, Nagano Prefecture), a son of a farmer. His father was widowed a few years after Issa was born. Issa was looked after by his grandmother until his father remarried. During this period, he started to study haiku under a local poet, Shimpo. Issa's troubles with his stepmother started when she gave birth to a son. Later Issa complainen that he was beaten "a hundred times a day." In 1777, at the age of fourteen, he was sent by his father to Edo (Tokyo today), where he studied haiku under the poets Mizoguchi Sogan and Norokuan Chikua (died 1790). Karol Wojty³a (viitorul Papă Ioan Paul al II-lea) s-a născut la Wadowice, un oraș situat la circa 50 de km de Cracovia (Polonia), într-o familie modestă, fiu al unui ofițer în retragere. Când era în vârstă de 9 ani și-a pierdut mama. După absolvirea liceului Marcin Wadowita, s-a înscris, în anul 1938, la cursurile Facultății de Litere și Filozofie a Universității Jagielloniene din Cracovia. În timpul celui de-al doilea război mondial și al ocupației naziste a Poloniei, Universitatea Jagielloniană a fost închisă și Karol Wojtyla a fost nevoit să muncească într-o fabrică de produse chimice. PLPhilip Larkin
Philip Arthur Larkin, CH, CBE, FRSL (9 August 1922 – 2 December 1985) is commonly regarded as one of the greatest English poets of the latter half of the twentieth century. He was also a novelist and a jazz critic. He spent almost all of his working life as a university librarian. He first came to prominence with the publication in 1955 of his second collection of poems, The Less Deceived, which was followed by The Whitsun Weddings in 1964 and High Windows in 1974. He was offered the Poet Laureateship following the death of John Betjeman in 1984, but he declined the honour. Larkin was born in the city of Coventry. Louis McKee (born July 31, 1951, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) has been a fixture of the Philadelphia poetry scene since the early 70s. He is the author of Schuylkill County (Wampeter, 1982), The True Speed of Things (Slash & Burn, 1984) and eleven other collections. More recently, he has published River Architecture: Poems from Here & There 1973-1993 (Cynic, 1999), Loose Change (Marsh River Editions, 2001) and a volume in the Pudding House Greatest Hits series. M-am nascut intr-o noapte de vara in orasul de pe Bega, in '84. Inca din copilarie am fost fascinata de arta, dar si de lumea artistica. Drept urmare, in gimnaziu am inceput sa scriu poezie si sa joc teatru. Odata cu trecerea timpului, simturile mi s-au cizelat. Acum sunt coautoarea a trei carti de specialitate in domeniul Psihologiei.
