Olly Komenda Soentgerath
Olly Komenda Soentgerath was born as German in Prague. She studied Germanistik and History at the Karl University. First poems appeared in the \"Prager day sheet\". In the Federal Republic of Germany she published so far ten poem volumes and a Prosaband. Seifert translated her poems into Czech and published them in three volumes in Prague two years before she received the 1984 Nobelprize. The poems of Olly Komenda Soentgerath were published in numerous anthologies, newspapers and magazines. They were toned and translated into several languages - the authoress is member of the PEN- club.She won several literary awards kept among others being the Culture Prize for Bibliography 1992 endowed by the Free State of Bavaria; the Honour Gift of Andreas Gryphius; and in 1996 the Kuenstlergilde endowed by the Federal Ministry of the Inside.

English dramatist. He began his theatrical career as an actor and playwright in provincial English repertory theaters. Osborne\'s plays usually focus on an individual character and the sheer force of his language rather than on action. His first commercial success was Look Back in Anger (1956), concerning a restless and vociferous young man of the working class who is at war with himself and society; it became the seminal work for the so-called angry young men. His other plays depict the frustration of living without hope in a world filled with false values. Among Osborne\'s other plays are The Entertainer (1957), Luther (1961), Inadmissible Evidence (1964), A Patriot for Me (1965), The End of Me Old Cigar (1974), Watch It Come Down (1976), and Déjà vu (1991). He also wrote the screenplay for Tom Jones (1963).

Raymond Thornton Chandler (23 iulie, 1888 – 26 martie, 1959) a fost un scriitor american de romane polițiste și nuvele. Sa născut la Chicago în 1888.Are șapte ani când tatăl său, un american, o părăsește pe mama lui Raymond. Aceasta, o irlandeză, se întoarce împreună cu copilul în Anglia. Raymond Chandler revine în Statele Unite în 1912, stabilindu-se pe Coasta de Vest. Fermecător, spiritual, înzestrat pentru stiințe, Chandler își găsește de lucru ușor. Orson Scott Card (n. 24 august 1951) este un scriitor cunoscut mai ales pentru romanul Jocul lui Ender (Ender\'s Game), publicat în 1985. Este actualmente profesor la Southern Virginia University în Buena Vista, Virginia. VIAȚA: Card s-a născut în Richland, Washington, a terminat Brigham Young University și University of Utah.
