EU eu respir, eu tremur, eu zambesc, eu ma inrosesc, eu plang, eu merg inainte, eu...nu sunt speciala, dar daca totusi sunt si nu realizez asta? ha! eu...visez. da visez! am propria mea gradina cu vise pe care le cultiv asa cum vreau eu. nu imi sunt impuse reguli speciale de gradinarit. sunt doar eu si straturi pline de iluzii, vise, idei, dorinte..."cultivator de vise" ! si totusi eu...inca invat. invat sa am curajul sa fiu eu insami, sa-mi recunosc meritele si sa accept infrangerile. invat sa strig atunci cand nu pot aproba in tacere si invat sa suspin atunci cand nu am glas sa pot striga. am nevoie sa invat toate astea... meandradoi@yahoo.com t3ddy_m3

BCBrian Chan
Brian Chan was born in Guyana in 1949. He began to establish a reputation as a poet of talent with his work in Expression in the early 1970s, part of a group that included Janice Lowe (Shinebourne) and N.D. Williams. He had poems published in Caribbean Quarterly, Artrage, and One People’s Grief and is included in the Heinemann anthology of Caribbean poetry. His first collection of poems, Thief With Leaf (1988) won the 1988 Guyana Prize. His work is challenging and experimental, exploring not only experience, but the fictions we create in making sense of experience. He moved to Canada in the 1970s and his poems explore a territory in which Guyanese memories filter into the Canadian present. He currently lives in Edmonton. His second collection of poems, Fabula Rasa, was published in 1994. He is a musician (clarinetist) and accomplished painter.

(n. 1945, Texas) a studiat gândirea zen cu Shunryu Suzuki, din 1966. În 1971, cu puțin timp înainte de moartea lui Suzuki, a devenit preot budist. A participat mai mulți ani la activitățile desfășurate de San Francisco Zen Center. Printre cărțile pe care le-a scris se numără Crooked Cucumber: The Life and Zen Teaching of Shunryu Suzuki (1999), o biografie a maestrului său, și To Shine One Corner of the World: Moments with Shunryu Suzuki (2001), reeditată în 2007 sub titlul Zen Is Right Here : Teaching Stories and Anecdotes of Shunryu Suzuki, Author of Zen Mind, Beginner`s Mind. *** David Chadwick (born 1945) grew up in Fort Worth Texas, dropped out of college the first year, did civil rights work, hitchhiked around, went to Mexico for a year, moved to California and began to study Zen as a student of Shunryu Suzuki in 1966.
