LANSARE DE CARTE: Oamenii trăiesc, adesea, o viață întreagă negându-și vocația, aspirațiile, dorințele… O vreme am fost și eu unul din acei oameni, aspirați de curentul pragmatic al vieții. Însă… poate că era inevitabil să îmi amintesc de acea parte a mea… Navigând prin cotloanele trecutului, am regăsit versuri scrise de mine acum mult timp. Și lăsate acolo, în calculator, să fie uitate. Am decis să adun toate aceste texte într-un volum. Un volum de versuri și proză. Un volum jurnal, ce acoperă aproape 15 ani de trairi personale. Așa că, iată-mă întors pentru o vreme, “part-time” la atitudinea de artist, iata-mă scriind din nou, boem și transfigurat într-o realitate interioară de care uitasem. Elizabeth Kim was born in Korea. Omma was killed by her brother and father ('honour killing') for the sin of sleeping with an American soldier and producing a mixed-race child, Elizabeth. There is no record of her birth or of her name. Dumped in a horrific orphanage in post-war Seoul, Kim was lucky to be adopted by a fundamentalist American family. But just as her American features doomed her in racist Korea, her Korean features served as a constant reminder that she wasn't good enough for her new all-white environment. Her mother had always told her that life was made up of ten thousand joys as well as ten thousand sorrows.

Ada Negri (Lodi, 3 febbraio 1870 – Milano, 11 gennaio 1945) è stata una poetessa e scrittrice italiana. È ricordata inoltre per essere stata la prima donna ad essere ammessa tra gli Accademici d'Italia. Ada Negri nacque a Lodi il 3 febbraio del 1870. Blake proclaimed the supremacy of the imagination over the rationalism and materialism of the 18th- century. Misunderstanding shadowed his career as a writer and artist and it was left to later generations to recognize his importance. Blake was born in London, where he spent most of his life. [[eng]] Adam Duritz is an innovative lyricist and piano player who brings the same soul to his friends and lifestyle as he does to the beautiful lyrics and music that he performs. Duritz joined and performed in the Bay area band "The Himalayans" until 1991 at which time he left to form Counting Crows. Before he left, however, material was recorded which eventually lead to the release of the 2002 album "She likes the Weather". The album has a track called "round here" which was eventually re-recorded on the Counting Crows album "August and Everything After". Ian Bavitz
Ian Bavitz, Long Island, New York City, New York, USA. Acquiring his adopted moniker from a movie he had acted in with friends and adding the surname when he began throwing rhymes, Aesop Rock creates hip-hop that is potent and evocative of his home city of New York. He and his production partner Blockhead apparently derive most of their samples from records lifted from the 99 cent bins of local music stores, meaning most of the sounds on his albums are drawn from Italian disco records. The former art student from Boston University built up a strong online fanbase with a number of CD releases, including Music For Earthworms and Appleseed, before making his debut album for the Mush label in 2000 with Float. Drawing on history and mythology to inform his densely constructed soundscapes, Aesop Rock\'s dextrous flow required several listens for the impact of his lyrics to be fully understood and assimilated.

Tom Waits
In the 1970s, Tom Waits combined a lyrical focus on desperate, lowlife characters with a persona that seemed to embody the same lifestyle, which he sang about in a raspy, gravelly voice. From the '80s on, his work became increasingly theatrical as he moved into acting and composing.
