DLDenise Levertov
Denise Levertov (October 24, 1923–December 20, 1997) S-a născut în 1923, la Ilford, Anglia. În 1947 îl cunoaște, la Geneva, pe poetul american Michael Goodman cu care se căsătorește, stabilindu-se, din 1948, la New York. A predat cursuri de literatură la mai multe universități și a ținut un mare număr de conferințe, în urma cărora influența sa asupra tinerei generații a crescut. Dintre operele ei cităm: “Here and Now” (1956); “Overland to the Isles” (1968); “With Eyes at the Back of our Heads” (1959); “The Jacob’s Ladder” (1961); “O Taste and See” (1964); “Sorrow Dance” (1967); “ A Tree Telling of Orpheus” (1968). Cunoscându-l pe Robert Creeley, Denise Levertov se atașează grupului de poeți de la Black Mountain, devenind o adeptă a versului proiectiv, care vrea să dea expresie noului ritm accelerat de viață. În ce o privește, această poezie a însemnat o permanentă explorare, un act de devotament aproape religios pentru adevăr și autenticitate.

Miroslav "Mika" Antiæ (March 14, 1932 – June 24, 1986) was a Serbian poet, journalist and painter. Antiæ was born in Mokrin, Vojvodina, Serbia (then Yugoslavia). He wrote poems, articles, dramas, movie and TV scripts and documentaries. Mika also acted in several movies, and was an amateur painter. His best known poem is "Srem", in which he mourns for dead in World War II and describes the beauty of Srem using "beæarac" song form. He is well known as a bohemian. Mika Antiæ is best known as a children and youth poet, a master of delicate and gentle sentiments. His bohemian, hard-drinking lifestyle is best illustrated by a barely translatable pun about him: "Èika Jova deci, èika Mika Antiæ dva deci" "Èika Jova deci" meaning "Mister Jova to the children", referring to Jovan Jovanoviæ Zmaj, a known children's poet. "Èika Mika Antiæ dva deci" means "Mister Mika Antiæ two deciliters", referring to drinking from a glass, likely of alcohol.

Philip MacDonald (November 5, 1900, London — December 10, 1980, Woodland Hills, California) was an English author of thrillers. MacDonald was the grandson of the writer George MacDonald and son of the author Ronald MacDonald and the actress Constance Robertson. Am inceput sa scriu din cls a II-a, cei drept niste basme copilaroase. Din pacate, sustin cu tarie faptul ca, pentru a putea creea ceva interesant, pentru a putea scrie ceva demn de luat in seama, trebuie ca suferinta interioara a unui autor trebuie sa fie destul de puternica, asta pentru a putea fi transformata in arta, in poezie, in exprimare desavarsita.
