1962 : naissance à Pau, avec une dent (comme Henri IV et Napoléon). Le grand-père, qui lui n’en avait plus qu’une (dent), prétend que c’est le signe d’un don. Il ne saura jamais, hélas, s’il avait raison. 1964: première cuite, en trempant des boudoirs dans des fonds de champa-agne. 1966: mauvais millésime. 1968 : trop petit, regrets éternels. Souvenirs de gens dans les rues. D‘un oncle qui marchait pieds nus. 1969: découverte, grâce à l\'instituteur, de Peer Gynt de Grieg, ce petit bonhomme qui s\'en va un matin à travers la montagne. 1970 : première BD, histoire de cowboys à gueules de chiens, avec des gentils et des méchants. 1971 : deuxième prix au concours de peinture de l’école (un bûcheron). 1972 : gagne le concours de chanson de la colo de Béost (vallée d’Ossau) avec « Par le grand Manitou » de Carlos. (Pas le terroriste, le chanteur !) 1973 : gagne pour la deuxième fois le concours de chanson de la colo avec « C’est un beau roman » de Michel Fugain. (Clin d’œil du destin ?)...

VSVictor Segalen
Victor Segalen, né à Brest le 14 janvier 1878, mort le 21 mai 1919 à Huelgoat, est un poète, et aussi médecin de marine, ethnographe et archéologue français. Après des études de médecine à l\'École du service de santé des armées de Bordeaux[1], Victor Segalen est affecté en Polynésie française. Il n\'aime pas la mer, ni naviguer mais débarquer et découvrir. Il séjourne à Tahiti en 1903 et 1904. Lors d\'une escale aux îles Marquises, il a l\'occasion d\'acheter les derniers croquis de Paul Gauguin, décédé trois mois avant son arrivée, croquis qui seraient, sans lui, partis au rebut. Il rapporte en métropole un roman, les Immémoriaux (1907), ainsi qu\'un journal et des essais sur Gauguin et Rimbaud, qui ne seront publiés qu\'en 1978. En 1908, il part en Chine où il soigne les victimes de l\'épidémie de peste de Mandchourie. En 1910, il décide de s\'installer en Chine avec sa femme et son fils. Jan Jakub Twardowski (June 1, 1915 – January 18, 2006) was a famous Polish poet, but, as he said of himself, he was a priest (of the Catholic Church) first of all.
