Daniela Sitar-Tăut s-a născut la 7 noiembrie 1972 în Baia Mare, județul Maramureș. Este licențiată a Facultății de Litere din același oraș, specializarea română-franceză. Doctor în filologie al Universității de Vest, Timișoara, din 2006. A debutat în 2002 în revista Poesis din Satu Mare. Este actualmente lect0r de limba română la Universitatea Comenius din Bratislava și redactor la Nord literar din Baia Mare și. A colaborat cu studii, articole, cronici literare și interviuri la revistele: Poesis, Viața Românească, Nord Literar, Feed-back, Mișcarea literară, Pages.litteraires.ro, Școala Maramureșeană, Familia română, reunite în volumul Valori și prezențe conjuncturale. Posed o minte ciudata.Nu stiu,poate abia acum ma definesc ca OM.Am 18 ani,sunt Berbec(nu prea cred in zodii)dar cat de cat mi se potriveste.Imi place sa scriu poezii ca sa ma relaxez sau sa ma amuz pe anumite teme.
