In a moonless night
In alonely hour
Starts another fight.
Someone`s shot in the tower
Someone`s lying here
And someone`s lying there
But there`s no time for tears
`Cause death floats in the air.
I remember the nights
When I prayed God
To stop the wars
To let be peace on earth
But now I pray
Every day and night
To win another battle
To see another soul fly to the sky.
The war is gone now
But I still remember
What I heard and what I saw.
I still live with the fear
That the war would come back
And take me again
My life won`t worth a damn
And I will die in pain.
So I remember the nights
When I prayed God
To stop the wars
To let be peace on earth
But now I pray
Every day and night
To win another battle
To see another soul fly to the sky.
The years will pass by
My fame won`t be the same
It will just fade to black
To where it must belong.
The endless night
Will rise over my soul
Will conquer all my dreams
And it will make me fall.
But I won`t remember the nights
When I prayed God
