Nicolae Sirius (n. 1950, Lupsanu, Calarasi) este poet si dramaturg. A parasit România în 1986. A trait sase luni într-un lagar din Austria. Devine cetatean australian din 1988. În 1995, ajunge în Germania, împreuna cu sotia, Hiroko Minakami, o valoroasa pianista japoneza. Câtiva ani mai târziu (1990), se stabileste în Japonia, unde traieste în prezent, alaturi de sotie si de cele doua fetite ale lor. A debutat cu poezie în Tribuna Ialomitei (1968), publicând apoi versuri în Luceafarul (1974) si în Caietul Debutantului (Editura Albatros, 1979). Consiliul Australian de Cultura si Arta i-a oferit doua burse guvernamentale (1989, 1990). Inga Vivienne Clendinnen AO (born 17 August 1934) is an Australian author and historian, anthropologist and academic. Born in Geelong, Victoria, Clendinnen graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1955 with a BA (Hons). She sporadically held the post of Senior Tutor of History there from 1955 to 1968, was a Lecturer at La Trobe University from 1969 to 1982, and was then a Senior Lecturer in History until 1989. Forced to curtail her academic activities due to contracting hepatitis, Clendinnen retained an association with La Trobe University while working on her memoir, Tiger's Eye. In 1999, she was invited to present the 40th annual Boyer Lectures. Her lectures were published in 2000 as True Stories. Phoebe Pratten was born in Canberra Australia in 1975. At the age of three, she was diagnosed with Peripheral Neuropathy. By 14 she was not able to walk anymore, as the disease affected the muscles. At the same time she couldn\'t make use of her hands or her arms, so she needed to find different ways of holding the pen. Her interests include art, alternative health and writing poetry. Ferdinand Ludwig Adam von Saar (born September 30, 1833 in Vienna, Austria; died July 24, 1906 in Döbling) was an Austrian novelist, playwright and poet. Together with Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach he was one of the most important realistic writers in the German language of the ending 19th century. ======================= Ferdinand von Saar wurde am 30. Al Zolynas was born in Austria of Lithuanian parents in 1945, and grew up in Sydney, Australia and Chicago, Illinois. He holds a PhD. in Creative Writing and Enlish from the University of Utah and was a Fulbright-Hays Fellow in India. Zolynas has worked as a kitchen helper, lifeguard, factory worker, cab driver, road construction worker, poetry editor, and resident poet in the schools, and currently teaches writing and literature at the United States International University in San Diego. Joseph Jacobs (29 August 1854 - 30 January 1916) was a literary and Jewish historian. He was a writer for the Jewish Encyclopaedia and a notable folklorist, creating several noteworthy collections of fairy tales. Jacobs was born in Sydney,Australia, the son of John and Sarah Jacobs. He was educated at Sydney Grammar School and at the University of Sydney, where he won a scholarship for classics, mathematics and chemistry. He did not complete his studies in Sydney, but left for England at the age of 18 and entered St John's College, Cambridge. He graduated B.A. in 1876, and in 1877 studied at the University of Berlin. FBFranz Bardon
Franz Bardon (December 1, 1909 – July 10, 1958), born in Opava, Austrian Silesia, was both a stage magician and student and teacher of Hermetics. He was member of Czech hermetic society Universalia. During World War II Bardon was at one point held in a concentration camp for refusing to participate in Nazi Mysticism. Bardon was rescued by Russian soldiers who raided the camp. Bardon continued his work in the fields of Hermetics until 1958 when he was arrested and imprisoned in Brno Czechoslovakia. Bardon died on July 10, 1958 while in the custody of police. He is best known for his three volumes on Hermetic magic. These volumes are Initiation Into Hermetics, The Practice of Magical Evocation and The Key to the True Quabbalah. Additionally there was a fourth work attributed to him by the title of Frabato the Magician, supposed to be a disguised autobiography.
