Among her fields of gold
I saw the sun that thawed
and fell in the magnetic slumber.
I minded the spill-over of her conductive amber
and yet I was unawed.
She had me shut away
in the combustion chamber
made me auscultate
that ripe occult
but I was unawed.
Amid the light years
I was still dismantling
the spectroscopy
of my younger fears.
