[The king reigns but governs not.]
Sublimity’s circuit:
each autumn
I elude myself on high
my foliage corpora press the trampoline
by falling on stony ground.
In the jumpsuit
I fall over myself
To unbind the suture.
Safety nets have remorselessly shrivelled –
providence moved with a high hand
the arboriculture
in an even taller-growing amphora
to watch the camouflage come through:
the laying down
in self-sufficing in-dwellings.
