Invisible
On top of a mountain,
standing
speechless –
how did I reach it?
Another dream come true –
a smile around the bend –
a coincidence?
One vision taking form,
a mirage
out of sizzling heat –
a green oasis emerging,
slowly,
with the careful steps of time –
new life slipping
out of old skin,
never to be the same again –
looking back, smiling
