Your poem am I,
paint pictures in words,
clad everything
in festive robes -
cloudy irreality,
dreamy haziness,
my world is pretty;
colour-filled emotions
crawl into your mind
at dusk,
weave cobwebs of thoughts
into stories –
my eyes see beauty everywhere
I swallow it with the air
and breathe it out
into your aura
wrap you in,
strap you in –
there’s no escape,
I lead your pen
until all is said what
I am feeling -
then I’ll go back to sleep
in the dusty, forgotten draw
of your busy mind
