I’ve lost the ending of our story’s beginning,
And today,
For us, time flows
Through the darkness.
When you thought me to read life’s lines,
From the moment’s palm,
I’ve slipped on death’s thread,
Through the darkness.
And I’ve never got to know
My true self,
Until you first called out my name, within a dream,
Through the darkness.
Neither did I ever reach
The morning’s glow,
But still, there’s place for light,
Through the darkness…
