A certain situation

There was a travelling song
heard on a road in the public transportation,
there was a mute, natural carelessness
that I supported my belief on.
There were my eyes looking far away
as through an absent horizon,
the cop with a cane was watching
the time going up and down in the station
on the steps of people becoming themselves.
The days and nights were filled,
the indifference was at home.
Groups of carolers are walking
in the city
one after the other
instigating my hearing.
