I am scared and crying

I am down and full of sorrow

I’m hurt and my heart is ash

The Shadow of Me awake

In dark corners of my mind

Along with other daemons

In muddy swamps of thoughts

And in forgotten fears

She lurked.

Patiently, she waited

For a moment that she knew will come

Waiting for my life’s sky

To grow dark again.

Oh Shadow where did I go wrong

Why did you have to wake up

And haunt and burn my heart

And torn my feelings apart.

Oh you Shadow, please let me die

Please drown me in a pool of oblivion

Take my soul 6 feet under the filthy mud

And cage it in a forgotten dungeon.

Make it numb so I cannot feel

Make it cold ice so it cannot melt

Make it black so I cannot have passion

Make it rotten so it cannot live.

Hurt my feelings with ugly words

Make me cry with tears of blood

Mock me and hysterically laugh

Hurt me.

Kill my red and fiery passion

Torment me with twisted thoughts

Unleash the daemons under your wing

Kill me.

I’ll die in a swamp of doubts

My death will be long and cruel

The claws of you Shadow

Will join me in my hell

I’m dead.
