A simpleton, it seems to me
Is what I have become to be,
In love, a dreamy touch I feel,
A smile that I just want to steal.
Diving in you I find myself,
I took my feelings off the shelf,
I’m bathing naked in your soul,
I’m happy, ‘cause you make me whole.
You’ve plunged for me in the abyss,
Made me remember what love is,
You curved my lips and bent the frown,
And threw me high when I was down.
